Michael Miller

Michael Miller, 77, of Huron passed away Thursday, June 13, 2019 at the Firelands Regional Medical Center.  He was born November 10, 1941 in Bellevue the son of Marcus “Moxie” and Ruth (Becker) Miller. 

Michael loved sports and enjoyed spending his time golfing and cheering on the Browns and the Buckeyes.  He was a member of the Lake Erie Eagles Aerie 2875.  Michael had a very inventive mind.  He was a mechanical engineer by trade and held over 17 patents.  He also enjoyed the opportunity of traveling the world that his work allowed him.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy (Jackson) whom he married on February 24, 1962 at Immaculate Conception Church, Bellevue; Two sons: Scott Miller of Columbus and Steve (David Maloney) Miller of Pittsburgh; Two daughters: Shelley (Ken Allen) DeBlase of Apex, North Carolina and Stephanie Miller of Sandusky, Ohio.  One brother, Paul Miller; and two sisters, Linda Lamb and Deborah Miller.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Friends will be received on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 from 3 p.m. until a memorial service begins at 6 p.m. at Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue.
