Michael Connelly Obituary

Michael R. Connelly, 73, was called home to be with the Lord on January 18, 2023, at Bickford of Carmel in Carmel, Indiana. Mike was born September 25, 1949, in Fremont, California.

He is survived by his wife, Cynthia (Weatherholt) Connelly; son, Cody and Ellen (Parsons) Cramer; daughter, Angela Cramer; grandson, Caden Cramer; and granddaughter, Calie Cramer. He is preceded in death by his father and mother; Harold and Theresa (Scroz) Connelly and his first wife, Harriet (Magyar) Connelly.

Mike retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad with over 45 years of service. He was a very humble, quiet man. Mike enjoyed traveling and tinkering around/building things. He would fiddle with any kind of tool and would even learn the ins and out of each mathematical equation to make the perfect cut. At age 60 he enrolled in a calculus class at Lorain Community College to just learn more about mathematics.

To honor Mike’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. I invite you to investigate something quirky and new to be a lifelong learner like Mike.
