Melody N. Stiltner, 69, of Clyde passed away Sunday, August 25, 2024, at her home. She was born December 25, 1954, in Sandusky, the daughter of Ralph and Katherine (Martin) Miller.
Melody loved listening to music and attended a variety of concerts throughout her life. She was employed at the former Armstrong Air in Bellevue, before working as a nurse’s aide at the Ohio Veterans Home. She was a passionate supporter of veteran’s services, and the care she gave them while working. At home, she enjoyed sitting on her back porch watching the butterflies and squirrels with her beloved dog, Emma.
She is survived by her husband, Timothy Stiltner, whom she married on April 12, 1980, in Clyde; daughter, Carrie (Andrew) Henney of Bellevue; son, Donovon Stiltner of Clyde; 3 grandchildren: Donovon Reed Stiltner, Dane Henney, and Carson Henney; and siblings: Wanda (Oscar) Bannister of Bellevue and Ron (Ruth) Miller of Bellevue.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sisters, Sue Rollyson and brother, Richard Miller.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, August 28, 2024 from 4-8 p.m. at Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue. A funeral service will begin at 10 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Bellevue Cemetery.
