Mary E. Smith

Mary E. Smith, age 86 of Bellevue, passed away Friday, October 14, 2022, at The Bellevue Hospital. Mary was born June 13, 1936, in Carey, OH, the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Jarvis) Fox.

Mary was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, the Bellevue VFW Auxiliary, and the Eagles Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing bingo, dartball, and bowling along with taking trips to casinos.

Mary is survived by her son, Chuck (Teri) Fields of Bellevue; daughter, Anna Fields of Bellevue; grandchildren: Ali (Miles) Rookard, Brittani Covella, Kyle Fields, and Justin (Courtnee) Rohr; great-grandchild, Beckett Rookard; and brother, Bill Fox of Alvada, OH.

In addition to her parents, Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Merle Smith, Jr., whom she married August 27, 1971; and 5 siblings: Jim Fox, Bobby Fox, Ruth Mae Kitzler, Helen Stover, and Annie Reed.  

Friends will be received on Saturday, October 22, 2022, from 11 a.m. until a funeral service begins at 1 p.m.  at Foos and Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue, OH 44811.
