Marilyn Rakes Obituary
Marilyn R. Rakes, age 81 of Clyde, passed away Saturday, March 6, 2021 at her home. Marilyn was born April 11, 1939 in Fremont the daughter of the late Paul and Geraldine (Reed) Bice.
Marilyn is survived by her husband, Dallas Rakes of Clyde, whom she married April 25, 1959 in Fremont; sons: Scott Rakes of Clyde, and Ken (Denise Franks) Rakes of Clyde; and grandchildren: Kaitlin and Miles.
In addition to her parents, Marilyn is preceded in death by her son, Brian Rakes, and brother, Dale Bice.
Friends will be received Wednesday, March 10, 2021 from 2pm until a memorial service beginning at 4pm at Foos Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 504 E. McPherson Hwy, Clyde, OH 43410. Masks and social distancing will be required.
Memorial donations may be made in Marilyn’s honor to ProMedica Hospice, 430 S Main St, Clyde, OH 43410, or to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 147 W Forest Street, Clyde, OH 43410.
