Marian Louise (Smetzer) Andrews, 94, of Bellevue passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at the Fisher-Titus Medical Center.
Marian was born April 5, 1930, in Bellevue and was a lifelong resident. She was the daughter of the late, Howard and Dorothea Smetzer.
Marian was a graduate of Bellevue High School in 1949. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church where she was chairman of the desserts for their dinners for eight years. She was also a member of the Four County Young-at-Heart and lifelong member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Monroeville.
Marian married Richard “Dick” Andrews on July 8, 1951; He preceded her in death in 1995; She is also preceded in death by her son, Denny Andrews in 2018; special grandson, Nathan Andrews in 1987; brothers: Howard Smetzer, Bob Smetzer, and Ellen Middleswarth.
Marian is survived by her daughter, Deb Andrews of Norwalk; granddaughter, Shannon Andrews of Bellevue; daughter-in-law, Anita Craig of Warsaw, Ohio and many wonderful cousins, nieces and nephews.
In her spare time, she enjoyed watching Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy, as well as the Cleveland Indians and The Ohio State Buckeyes. Family and friends meant the world to Marian, and she loved spending time with them.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 from 1pm until a memorial service begins at 2:30 p.m. at Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery.
