Margaret Rose Rodriguez

Margaret Rose Rodriguez, age 67 of Tiffin, passed away Saturday, September 18, 2021 at Elmwood Assisted Living at The Shawhan in Tiffin. Margaret was born February 12, 1954 in Bellevue, the daughter of the late Jose G. and Virginia M. (Moreno) Rodriguez.

Margaret, growing up, loved spending time with her mother and father in the kitchen learning everything she could. She graduated from St. Francis in Tiffin in 1975. She loved music, especially the Tapestry album by Carol King.  She enjoyed writing poetry and playing bingo and the lottery.

Margaret was everybody’s tía. She had a strong Catholic Faith, and had love for all of her tías and tíos. She was also very active in AA and took great pride in her sobriety.

Margaret is survived by her siblings: Christopher Rodriguez of Clyde, David (Susan) Rodriguez of Lexington, KY, Regina (Ronald C. Jr.) Ransom of Tiffin, Vincent Rodriguez of Clyde, and Greg Rodriguez of Perkins Township; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Margaret is preceded in death by her siblings: Phillip Rodriguez, Tony Rodriguez, Diana Goehring, Stephen Rodriguez, and Rebecca Mooney.

Friends will be received Thursday, September 23, 2021 from 3-8pm at Foos Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 504 E. McPherson Hwy, Clyde, OH 43410. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, September 24, 2021 at 10:30am at St. Mary Catholic Church, 609 Vine St, Clyde, OH 43410.
