Louella Maines, 85, of Bellevue passed away Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at The Bellevue Hospital. She was born January 15, 1936 in Johnson City, TN the daughter of David and Okie (Nelson) Parks.
Louella worked at the GE Lamp Plant in Bellevue until its’ closing. She loved playing the piano, organ, and guitar; cooking for her family especially making biscuits and gravy for them. In her later years, Louella enjoyed crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, and watching soap operas.
She married Bradley Maines on December 24, 1954 in Clyde; He preceded her in death in 2017.
Louella is survived by her son, Mike B. (Misty) Maines of Sandusky; daughters, Linda (Bob) Rowe of Bellevue, Bonnie (Larry) Covert of Bellevue; grandchildren: Ashley and Rob Rowe, Larry Jr., Brian, Jason, and Laura Covert, Miranda Branden, and Dianna Volmar; great grandchildren: Deoilah, Danica, Laci, Maddy, and Alek; two brothers, Bobby (Linda) Parks, Johnny R. Parks; and sisters, Kate Kurtz and Ruth (Roger) Rollins.
In addition to her parents and husband, Louella is preceded in death by her three brothers: Giles, Charles, and Russell Parks; and sister, Juanita Meyers.
Friends will be received on Monday, August 2, 2021 from 10 a.m. until a funeral service officiated by Rev. Roger Rollins begins at Noon at Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue, Ohio 44811. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memory Gardens.
