Lorana D. Gainok, 81, of Bellevue passed away Thursday, December 23, 2021 at the Gaymont Nursing Home in Norwalk. She was born Feb. 12, 1940 in Fort Gay, West Virginia the daughter of Thomas and Phyllis (Maynard) Hamilton.
Lorana was a member of the Rat Patrol and Eagles Aerie 490 Auxiliary. She was a music enthusiast and lived for the thrill and adventures that life had to offer alongside her loving husband. She always had a smile on her face, and as long as she was spending time with family and friends, she was happy.
She is survived by her son, Gary (Shelley) Mosley of Bellevue; daughters, Brenda (Tom) Lindenberger of Huron, Glenna (Ramie) Cantelli of Sandusky, and Jo Ann Mosley of Norwalk; stepsons, Brian (Lanette) Gainok of Greenwich, Mark Gainok of Norwalk12 grandchildren; and 28 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Lorana is preceded in death by her husband, John Gainok, whom she married on October 22, 1978 in Ashland; sister, Regina Ball; and brothers, John Thomas Hamilton and Sydney Harrison Hamilton.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, January 11, 2021 from 11 a.m. until a funeral service begins at Noon at Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, South Amherst, Ohio.
