Loma A. (Welch) Smith

Loma A. Smith, age 75 of Fremont, OH, and formerly Bellevue, OH, passed away Saturday, December 7, 2024 at her home surrounded by family. She was born July 14, 1949 in Tucson, AZ, the daughter of the late Clark L. Welch and Rheta J. (Stevens) Welch. 

Loma enjoyed riding motorcycles, trips with her husband, camping, swimming, fishing, playing cards, and bingo. Most of all she enjoyed gatherings with family and friends. 

Loma is survived by her husband, Lew A. Smith of Fremont; 3 children: sons, David E. (Wendy) Evans, Jr. of Findlay, OH, and James A. Evans (Deanna) of Bellevue, and daughter, Connie Sue Seamon (John) of Fremont; 5 step-children: Lew Ray Smith of Cleveland, OH, Clint (Teri) Smith of Attica, OH, Harold Smith of Willard, OH, and Shane (Earlene) Smith of Green Springs, OH, Bennie Smith of Fremont. 16 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; 

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her 3 sisters: Nancy Ross, Shirley Bigler, and Reba Richards; and brother, Archie Welch. 

Friends will be received on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, from 11:00am until a funeral service beginning at 1:00pm at Foos & Foos Funeral Service, Bellevue, OH 44811.
