Linda Kay Schindley, 76, of Bellevue passed away Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at Firelands Regional Medical Center. She was born November 14, 1944 in Norwalk, the daughter of Paul G. and Katherine (Barr) Shelley.
Linda was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, Bellevue; She enjoyed bowling, crocheting, and watching any sports on television in particular Cleveland sports and The Ohio State Buckeyes.
Linda is survived by her husband, Lawrence Schindley, who she married on October 19, 1963 in Norwalk; Children: Lisa (Kenneth) McConnell of Bellevue, Leon (Jeff) Schindley of Huron, and Lonnie (Cathi) Schindley of Bellevue; 9 grandchildren: Josh, Adam, Morgan, Lucas, Bekka, Patrick, Samantha, Joey, and Tyler; 8 great-grandchildren: Skyler, Micah, Holden, Sofia, Tyson, Audreigh, Ariella, and Christopher.
She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Lawrence Schindley Jr.; daughter, Lynne Marie Schindley; sister, Carol Gregory; and brother, John Shelley.
A funeral mass will begin at 11 a.m. on Monday, December 21, 2020 at Immaculate Conception Church, 231 E. Center Street, Bellevue. Burial will take place at Bellevue Catholic Cemetery at a later date. Foos & Foos Funeral Service, Bellevue is in care of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to Immaculate Conception Church or to the Donor’s Favorite Charity.
