Linda (Farmer) Ruffing

Linda Ruffing, age 72 of Bellevue, passed away Sunday, October 25, 2020 at The Bellevue Hospital. Linda was born November 7, 1947 in Norwalk, the daughter of the late John and Louise (Carnahan) Farmer.

Linda was a 1965 graduate of St. Paul High School in Norwalk and a St. Paul Alumni Member. She worked at Norwalk Furniture for over 40 years. She was a member of St. Gaspar Catholic Church and a board member of the Bismark Senior and Community Center. She enjoyed travelling to covered bridges, swimming at the Norwalk Rec Center, puzzles, playing cards, attending her grandchildren’s school events, and most of all, spending time with her family.

Linda is survived by her children: Arnold P. (Tina) Ruffing of North Fairfield, Donald A. (Stacy) Ruffing of Attica, Lisa M. Ruffing of Bellevue, Sheri L. Bischoff of Monroeville, Mary E. (Dan) Carpenter of Norwalk, and John S. Ruffing of Bellevue; 10 grandchildren: Alexis, Joey, Cheyanna, Jesse, Kylie, Kainon, D.J., Ava, Mataya, and Aidan; 2 great-grandchildren: Daxson and Raegan; and siblings: Patty (Tom) Romell of Monroeville, Mike (Sandy) Farmer of Vermillion, Sam (Penny) Farmer of North Fairfield, Mary Jo (Ron) Mantz of Milan, and Diana (Clyde) Boggs of Monroeville.

In addition to her parents, Linda is preceded in death by her husband, Arnold S. Ruffing; daughter, Brenda S. Ruffing; granddaughter, Tiffany; great-grandson, Dreyson; brother, Jay Farmer; sister, Barb Bonner; and son-in-law, Andrew Bischoff.

Friends will be received Friday, October 30, 2020 from 2-4 & 6-8 at Foos and Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Pl, Bellevue, OH 44811. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2020 at 10:30am at St. Gaspar del Bufalo Church, 16209 Co Rd 46, Bellevue, OH 44811. Burial will follow at St. Sebastian Catholic Cemetery.
