Leanne Grace Stout, 61, of Attica, Ohio passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2026 at Fisher-Titus Medical Center in Norwalk. She was born June 2, 1964 in Bellevue the daughter of Gary and Jo (Sberna) Haynes.
Leanne graduated from Bellevue High School. For many years, she worked as a transcriptionist at The Bellevue Hospital, and was employed at Sutton Bank in Attica as an Item Processing Operator from June of 2019. Her coworkers and friends at the bank described her as ‘the light of literally the entire bank, her laugh, smile, personality – all of it. She kept everyone smiling. She was positive even when the rest of us were struggling’.
Leanne married her high school sweetheart, Theodore “Ted” Stout on April 25, 1992 in Bellevue; He preceded her in death in March 2021.
A loving person full of light, Leanne was known for being selfless, generous, compassionate, and always eager to help others. She was an avid reader who enjoyed watching her scheduled television shows and listening to audiobooks. She adored all animals, especially her three cats, her daughter’s two cats, and her grandpuppy, “Tucker” (“Grammy’s Boy”). Over the years she was a wonderful babysitter and affectionately known as “Aunt Peel” by many of her nieces and nephews. She was also a devoted fan of the University of Michigan.
She is survived by her daughter, Rachel Stout of Perrysburg; mother, Jo (Sberna) Haynes of Bellevue; brothers, Jeff (Carolyn) Haynes of Bellevue and Duke of Michigan; sisters Lori (Steve) Mays of Bellevue, Mary Jo Jacobs of Bellevue, and Sheryl Haynes of Bellevue. She is additionally survived by sister-in-law, Debra Kinderman of Bellevue; brother-in-law, Dennis (Carol) Stout of Bellevue; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her father, Gary Haynes; brother, Edward “Eddie” Haynes; mother and father-in-law; and brother-in-law, Larran Meador.
Family and Friends will gather, Wednesday, May 13, 2026 from 2-7 p.m. at Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue. A private service will be held on Thursday, May 14 at the funeral home.
