Lawrence Metzger

Lawrence Metzger Jr., 64, of Burgoon passed away Saturday, November 2, 2024 at his home.  He was born March 17, 1960 in Toledo the son of Lawrence Sr. and Nancy (Battles) Metzger. 

Larry worked for the Whirlpool Corp. in Clyde, he enjoyed his job along with being around his co-workers.  In his spare time he enjoyed riding his motorcycle and playing pool and recently joined a pool league.

He is survived by his daughter, Nanci Metzger of Naples, FL; grandchildren: Brooklin and Bronx Koback; sisters, Debora Sparks and Sandra Winkler; and his beloved dogs who will now be looking for a new home: “Buddy” and “Babe”.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Metzger, who he married on June 27, 1998, in Rossford; She preceded him in death in 2019.

Friends will be received on Saturday, November 9, 2024 from 10 a.m. until a time of remembrance begins at Noon at Foos Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 504 E. McPherson Hwy, Clyde.  Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memory Gardens.
