Lawrence Humbarger

Lawrence Humbarger, 87, of Bellevue passed away Monday, May 23, 2022, at his home.  He was born October 9, 1934, in Lansing, MI the son of Lawrence and Martha (Miller) Humbarger.

Larry served in the United States Marine Corps.  He owned and operated the former Lynn’s Radiator Shop and Betty’s Family Restaurant.  Larry was a member of the Clyde Church of God, and VFW Post 1238.

Larry married Betty (Biller) Humbarger on April 28, 1957, in Tiffin, Ohio; She survives along with their two daughters: Ruth C. (Jim) Wiswell of Bellevue and Mary L. (Norbert) Missler of Bellevue; 7 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren; and two sisters: Darlene Bracy of Lapeer, MI and Betty Geisler of Ft. Mill, SC.

In addition to his parents, Larry is preceded in death by his stepmother, Mary Humbarger; sisters: Caroline Oxendale, Phyllis Cauble, and Diane Vance; and brothers: Norman Humbarger, Donald Humbarger, and David Humbarger.

Friends will be received on Friday, May 27, 2022 from Noon until a funeral service begins at 2 p.m. at Foos Funeral Home Cremation Service, 504 E. McPherson Hwy, Clyde.  Burial with military honors will follow at York Chapel Cemetery.
