Laurie Ann Waller

Laurie Ann Waller, age 69 of Flat Rock, passed away December 16,2021 at the Bellevue Hospital. Laurie was born on March 25, 1952 in Cleveland, the daughter of the late Rosemary (Leopold) Draxler and Peter Draxler.

Laurie retired from Sandusky Athol in 2006. She also was an active member in the UAW Local 1957 group. Aside from work, Laurie enjoyed many things such as sewing, motorcycles, gardening, and cooking. She also absolutely enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren Alexis and Ethan, especially winning at Uno.

Laurie is survived by her long-time significant other Paul W. Smith, of Reedtown; her son: Peter (Hollie) Vincent, of Lorain; grandchildren: Ethan Vincent and Alexis Vincent; sisters: Kathy (Joe) Fair, of Cleveland, and Nancy Taylor.

In addition to her parents, Laurie is preceded in death by her sister: Rory Soeder.

Friends will be received Wednesday, December 22, 2021, from 12-3:30pm at Foos and Foos Funeral Home, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue, OH 44811. A funeral service will begin at 3:30pm at the funeral home following visitation.

Memorial donations can be made out to The American Lung Association in Laurie’s honor.
