Laurie (Deming) Rado, age 70, of Bellevue, OH, passed away on June 16, 2025, at the Fireland Regional Medical Center. Laurie was born on June 5, 1955, the daughter of the late Kenneth and Audrey (Kaufman) Deming Lieb.
Laurie was a proud and dedicated life member of V.F.W. Post 1238, where she served with distinction as both Auxiliary President and District President. She was also a member of American Legion Post 83 in Sandusky. Laurie’s commitment to her community shone brightly through her generous support of local charities, veterans organizations, and causes benefiting children. A devoted fan of the Cleveland Browns and Indians, Laurie also found great joy in the simple beauty of hummingbirds and cardinals. Some of her fondest memories were shared with her sister Marla, whether crafting together or attending local craft shows. Laurie's warmth, generosity, and vibrant spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Laurie is survived by her brothers, William (Barb) Deming and Mark (Lisa) Deming; sister, Marla (Kenneth) Lowery; several nieces and nephews, and her loyal companion, Lucky the dog.
In addition to her parents, Laurie is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Rado, whom she married on August 28, 1980; brother, Gary Deming; and sister, Sandi Crayton.
