Laurel Gonzales

Laurel Gonzales, 78, of Bellevue passed away Monday, February 3, 2025 at the Firelands Regional Medical Center.  She was born December 9, 1947 in Sandusky, the daughter of  Arnulfo and Lois (Ramsdel) Cantu.

Laurel married Robert Gonzales on August 25, 1972 in Tennesee; He survives along with their two sons: Donald (Abie) Drummond Jr. of Bellevue and Daniel (Kimberly) Drummond of Bellevue; daughter, Michelle Atchley of Knoxville, TN; grandchildren: Alex (Suzi) Drummond, Danielle Drummond, and 3 other grandchildren; 1 great grandchild, Kingston Bingamon; brother, Randy Cantu; sister-in-law, Deborah Cantu; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Arnulfo Mark Cantu; sisters: Kitty Walton, Tina Porcher, and Terra Arman; and son-in-law, Billy Atchley.

A graveside service will begin on Friday, February 7, 2025 at Noon at York Chapel Cemetery, CR 292, Bellevue.  Foos & Foos Funeral Service, Bellevue is in care of arrangements.
