Larry A. Norman II, age 53 of Clyde, passed away Thursday, April 21, 2022 at the University Hospital of Cleveland Medical Center in Cleveland, OH. Larry was born November 19, 1968 in Fremont the son of Karen Smith (Stevens) and the late Larry A. Norman, Sr.
Larry worked as an Ironworker for local 55 in Toledo for over 20 years.
Larry was a family man who loved his wife and sons, and over the moon in love with his granddaughter. Larry enjoyed spending time with his family, especially watching the Columbus Crew with his boys. Larry also enjoyed spending time fishing, camping, and backpacking.
Larry spent many years as a coach for the Clyde Wrestling team. He also coached the Clyde Soccer team for some time.
He was the man everyone went to for any and all advice.
Larry is survived by his wife, Amy Norman (Osborn), whom he married August 13, 1994; sons: Jacob (Kazmir) Norman, David Norman, Alexander Norman, and Jared (Tabitha) Norman; mother and step-father, Karen (John) Smith; granddaughter, Elliott Norman; and siblings: Steven (Alyssa) Norman, Diann (Ryan) Bloom, Kelley (Raymond) Stevens, Morgan Norman, Johnny Smith, and Ashley (Eric) Smith.
In addition to his father, Larry is preceded in death by his grandparents.
Friends will be received Monday, April 25, 2022 from 2-4 & 5-8pm at Foos Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 504 E. McPherson Hwy, Clyde, OH 43410. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at 11:00am, also at the funeral home.
