Larry Heath, 68, of Lakeside passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at the Charleston Area Medical Center in Charleston, West Virginia. He was born April 17, 1952 in Defiance, Ohio the son of Robert L. Heath Sr. and Alice Snyder.
Larry worked as a foreman for Norfolk & Southern in the mechanical department. During his career, Larry moved around to various railroad communities and moved 13 times in 17 years, beginning his employment in Bellevue and finishing in Bluefield, West Virginia. He loved the outdoors and spending time fishing, hunting and golfing. He loved working on anything with an engine and restored numerous vehicles.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn (Dinger), whom he married on December 3, 1994 in Conneaut, Ohio; sons: Tony Sebetto of Clyde, Todd Heath of Bellevue; daughter, Heidi Sue (Todd) Rhodes of Fort Wayne, IN; grandchildren: Garrett, Dalton, Colin, Shaye, Betsy, Dominic, Alora, Zach, Anthony and Alyviah; great grandchildren: Aris, Elizabeth, Jade, and Aliana; brothers, Robert L. (Kim) Heath Jr. of Bellevue, David (Jackie) Heath of Bellevue; sister, Judy D. Heath-Strecker of Bellevue; step-mother, Helen Heath of Bellevue; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Cpl. Terry Maxwell Heath USMC; and sister, Patricia L. Heath-Oddo-Jenkinson.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 from Noon until a memorial service begins at 2 p.m. at Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue. Under current Ohio mandates a mask will be required along with social distancing.
