Larry Collier Obituary

Larry Gene Collier, 71, of Bellevue passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at The Stein Hospice Care Center in Sandusky. He was born November 25, 1948 in Portsmouth, Ohio the son of Ison T. and Emma “Jean” (Ingles) Collier.

Larry worked for Norfolk Southern as Clerk until his retirement. He was a former member of the Eagles Aerie 490 and the Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed being outside camping, riding motorcycles or 4-wheeling and spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Sherry D. Collier of Shreveport, Louisiana; daughter, Traci (Michael) McMurray of Clyde; step-children: Joshua Anderson of Shreveport and Jessica Anderson of Bellevue; grandchildren: Ryan (Kendra) Collier; Mason, Maxwell, and Mitchell McMurray; and Katelyn and Kyndall Anderson; and two great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Brian Collier; and brothers: Terry Collier and Gregory Collier.

A memorial service will be announced July. Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue is in care of arrangements.
