LaVerne Miller

LaVerne Miller, 88, of Green Springs passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at The Bellevue Care Center.  She was born March 9, 1934 in Bellevue the daughter of William and Coletta (Landoll) Meyer.

LaVerne attended Clyde St. Mary’s Church and worked at Sorrowful Mother Shrine for a brief time.  She enjoyed gardening and tending to her flowers.  Most of all she enjoyed time with family, and especially spoiling her grandchildren and going to their sporting events

She married James Miller on May 4, 1963 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church; He survives along with their 4 children: David (fiancée, Cheryl Johnston) Miller of Clyde, Gary (Michelle) Miller of Bellevue, Randy Miller of Columbus, and Sandy (Mike) Dendinger of Bellevue; and 4 grandchildren: Amanda Miller, Connor Miller, Allison Dendinger, and Morgan Dendinger.

LaVerne is preceded in death by her parents and siblings: John, Richard, Bernadine, Bernice, Harold, Walter, and Robert.

Friends will be received on Friday, April 1, 2022 from 3 -7 p.m. at Foos Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 504 E. McPherson Highway, Clyde.  A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church, 609 Vine Street, Clyde, Ohio.

Memorials may be made to Southern Care Hospice, St. Mary’s Church, or the Immaculate Conception School Endowment Fund.
