L. Marion Gardner

L. Marion Gardner, age 96 of Bellevue, passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at the Willows of Bellevue. Marion was born November 5, 1923 in Bellevue the daughter of the late John Alfred and Luella Mabel (Roush) Flicker.

Marion was a member of the Eastern Star – Ann Rutledge Chapter #453 for over 53 years. She was also a life member of the VFW Auxiliary Post 1238.

Marion is survived by her children: Stuart W. (Geralyn) Gardner of Bellevue, and Linda L. Gardner of North Olmsted; grandchildren: Michael (Ashley) Gardner of Macedonia, Michele Gardner of Bellevue, and Monica Gardner of Columbus; and great-granddaughters: Layla and Ella.

In addition to her parents, Marion is preceded in death by her husband, Wilmer A. “Bill” Gardner whom she married June 29, 1948 in Bellevue; and siblings: Alfred John Flicker Sr., Shirley DeVore, Marvin Flicker, and Luella May Flicker, whom died in infancy.

Friends will be received Sunday, November 1, 2020 from 12:00pm until a memorial service begins at 2:00pm at Foos and Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Pl, Bellevue, OH 44811.

Mask and social distancing is required while at the services.
