Obituary
Kristina A. Commarato, 58, of Bellevue passed away Monday, May 8, 2023, at her home. She was born May 3, 1965, in Queens, NY the daughter of Martin and Astrid (Erlandson) Heavey.
Kris was a kind, loving person, and always put others ahead of her own needs. She enjoyed gardening, decorating, and especially enjoyed cooking. Over the years she volunteered countless hours to Immaculate Conception Church and School, where she helped with lunches daily.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph Commarato, whom she married January 28, 1992, in Mt. Vernon, Illinois; son, Joseph Commarato of Bellevue; daughter, Gina Commarato of Bellevue; and granddaughter, Sophia Commarato.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Martin Heavey.
A funeral Mass will begin at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 12, 2023, at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, 231 E. Center Street, Bellevue. Foos & Foos Funeral Service, Bellevue is assisting with arrangements.
