Kimberly (McClain) Norman, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love and compassion that will forever live in the hearts of those who knew her. She was married to the love of her life, Dennis Norman Sr., for 57 years. Their partnership was one built on dedication and a shared joy in the family they created together.
Kimberly was the proud and devoted mother of Ammie (John) Strachan, Dennis Norman II, and John (Angela) Norman. Her heart was overflowed with love for her grandchildren—Brittnee Strachan, Brandi Strachan, Delaney Norman, and Flynn Norman—each of whom she cherished deeply. She is also survived by her Brothers Marc (Vicki) McClain & Casey McClain as well as nieces and nephews.
An extraordinary cook, Kimberly had the gift of making a meal feel like an occasion, filling her home with warmth, comfort, and the delicious aromas of dishes lovingly prepared. She had a lifelong passion for music, curating an extensive collection that spanned decades and genres. Whether it was a timeless classic or something new she had discovered, music was her constant companion. We will always remember her travels through the open doors of Walmart while the winds carried her aloft and the many chuckles she and Dad would have on their excursions.
Kimberly had a gentle heart for animals and dedicated herself to advocating for their protection and care. Her beloved cats, Millie and Gracie, were never far from her side. They will surely miss her warm lap, soothing presence, and the treats she always had on hand for them.
Kimberly was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Norman Sr. in February of this year 2025; her mother, Dawn (Crosby) McClain Ellison; and her father, William McClain. Though she has left this world, the love she gave, the kindness she showed, and the memories she created will continue to live on in the lives of her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
To honor her wishes in lieu of funeral services our mother has asked that you donate to your local Animal Shelters or to the Bellevue Fallen Soldiers Memorial-PO Box 8005, Bellevue, OH 44811.
