Kevin L. Taraschke, 55, of Bellevue, passed away on Monday, August 4, 2025, at his home after a long battle with multiple sclerosis. He was born on September 2, 1969, in Fostoria, Ohio, to Ross L. Taraschke and Gretchen (Heiserman) Tsantels.
Kevin was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Jeanette (Adams), whom he married on April 26, 1994, in Bellevue; his mother, Gretchen Tsantels; his daughter, Shelby Taraschke; his son, Todd Heimbaugh; and his grandchildren: Phoenix Taraschke, Roman Case, Ruby Layne Heimbaugh, and Bridger Heimbaugh. He was preceded in death by his father, Ross L. Taraschke, and his twin sisters, Julie Ann and Lisa Kay Taraschke.
Kevin worked for the former Armstrong Air in Bellevue. He had a passion for sports, whether it was golfing or playing fantasy football, and was an avid fan of the Detroit Tigers, Michigan Wolverines, and Tennessee Titans. He enjoyed listening to classic rock, mowing the lawn in the summer, and pushing snow in the winter. Kevin was a kind and supportive man, always there for his family and friends. He was also fortunate to have wonderful neighbors and friends who provided continual help throughout his diagnosis.
Friends will be received on Saturday, August 9, 2025, from Noon until a time of sharing at 2 p.m. at Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue.
