Kerry B. Messer

Kerry B. Messer, age 73 of Clyde, passed away Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at ProMedica  Hospice Residence at Flower Hospital in Sylvania. Kerry was born January 5, 1948 in Sandusky, the son of the late Bruce and Frances (Stancil) Messer.

"O" as he was often referred, was an avid fisherman. He loved The Ohio State Buckeyes and was a loyal Cleveland Browns fan. Most important, he was a man of faith and loved his family. 

He served as a medic in the US NAVY from 1967-1972. 

Kerry is survived by his daughter, Melissa Mitchell of Fremont; grandson, Jayce Mitchell; and siblings: Ronnie (Tammy) Messer of Clyde, Steve (Debbie) Messer of Clyde, Linda (Bill) Humphrey of Fremont, and Cheryl Messer of Huron.

In addition to his parents, Kerry is preceded in death by his sister, Vickie Noftz.

Friends will be received Saturday, August 28, 2021 from 1pm until a memorial service beginning at 2 pm at the Clyde Ohio Church of God, 1461 S Main St, Clyde, OH 43410.
