Kenneth E. Krupp, 79, of Bellevue, OH passed away Thursday, September 24, 2020 at St. Luke’s Hospital, Maumee, OH after a brief battle with cancer.
Kenny attended Immaculate Conception School, Bellevue and was a 1959 Graduate of Bellevue High School. He served his country in the Army National Guard from 1963 to 1969. Those that know Kenny, know that he was a hard worker from a very young age. He was part of the past 7 Limer’s, Inc. for his entire career, retiring in 2015 as part-owner and President of KAS Trucking after more than 52 years of dedicated, selfless service.
In his younger years, he also proudly served the community of Bellevue as a past member of the Bellevue Zoning Board, Shade Tree Commission and Immaculate Conception School Board. Kenny also quietly volunteered countless hours hauling hundreds of tons of donated stone to various community projects.
His pride and joy were his family, whom he loved unconditionally and supported tirelessly. Kenny is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 52 years, Shirley L. (Garner) Krupp; adoring children Stacia (Reid) Thompson of Delphos, OH, Kyle Krupp of Bellevue and the stars of his eyes, his grandsons, Noah and Logan Krupp of Bellevue.
Many fond memories were made with his family and dear friends boating on Lake Erie. Whether waterskiing the Portage River, jet skiing by the Marblehead Lighthouse, island hopping, fishing or anchored at the Sand Bar, Kenny was happiest by the water surrounded by his friends.
In addition to his wife, children and grandchildren, Kenny is survived by his loving sister, Mary Yingling and numerous nieces, nephews and their families.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Marion and Kathryn (Hiler) Krupp, brother Donald Krupp, Sr. sister-in-law Frances Krupp and brother-in-law, James Yingling.
Friends will be received Tuesday, September 29, 2020 from 2-4 & 6-8pm at Foos and Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Pl, Bellevue, OH 44811. Under current Ohio mandates set forth by the Governor, a mask is required, and social distancing will be observed. A Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at 10:00am at Immaculate Conception Church, 231 E Center St, Bellevue, OH 44811. Burial will follow at Bellevue Catholic Cemetery.
Kenny’s family wishes to thank Dr. Ben Ball and the staff at Ball Medical Clinic, the Bellevue Hospital, especially the ICU team for their compassionate care and most recently the medical staff at St. Luke’s Hospital, Maumee.
Memorial contributions may be made to The Bellevue United Selective Fund or The Bellevue Hospital Foundation.
