Kenneth L. DeVault

Kenneth L. DeVault, age 83 of Fremont, passed away Sunday, March 8, 2020 at ProMedica Memorial Hospital in Fremont. Kenneth was born September 6, 1936 in Dillonvale, OH the son of the late Howard and Mary (Smith) DeVault.

Kenneth served in the United States Air Force and later retired from Norfolk & Southern. He was a licensed pilot for many years and enjoyed fishing and camping.

Kenneth is survived by his sons: Larry DeVault of Fremont, and Ken (Kimberley) DeVault of Fremont; daughters: Tina (Ron) McGinn of Clyde, and Robin (Gary) Hall of Clyde; grandchildren: Bobby, Shaun, and Joshua McGinn, Melissa McDermott, Tiffany Hammond, Danielle Compton, Nicole Lightner, and Gunner DeVault; great-grandchildren: Zackery, Brian, Brandon, and Dean McGinn, Elena McDermott, Paige and Braiden Hammond, Joanna, Ashton, and Katelynn Compton, Ethan Seeber, Ariah, Isaac, and Isaiah Lightner; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Kenneth is preceded in death by his wife, Beverly (Whitman) DeVault; and siblings: Mae, Gene, Howard, Richard, and Dora.

Friends will be received Saturday, March 14, 2020 from 10:00am until a funeral service beginning at 1:00pm at Foos Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 504 E. McPherson Hwy, Clyde, OH 43410. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memory Gardens.
