Judith D. Savey

Judith D. Savey, 78, of Bellevue, passed away August 3, 2019 at UTMC, Toledo.  She was born January 11, 1941 in Bowling Green, OH, the daughter of Leon and Betty (Plowright) Shinabery.

Judy worked as a Registered Nurse at Fisher-Titus Medical Center in Norwalk for over 20 years.  She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Bellevue and as a member of the Altar Rosary Society volunteered with numerous funeral luncheons.

She is survived by her son, Joseph W. Savey of Bellevue; daughter, Michele E. (Douglas) Adams of Fairlawn,  OH; 3 grandchildren:  Carmine A. (Mary) Sberna of Malabar, FL, Kennedy A. and Kolby E. Adams both of Fairlawn, OH; 1 great grandchild: Mariella Sberna; a brother, Dennis (Billie) Shinabery of Cape Coral, FL; and sister, Tonya L. (Shinabery) Hayward of Bellevue.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her former husband, Joseph L. Savey, whom she married November 7, 1964 at Immaculate Conception Church, and four of their children in infancy.

Friends will be received Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm with the Rosary being prayed at 3:30 pm at Foos and Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue.  A Funeral Mass will be offered Friday, August 9, 2019, 11:00 am at

Immaculate Conception Church, 231 East Center Street, Bellevue.  Burial will follow at Bellevue Catholic Cemetery.
