Joseph E. Hickle

Joseph E. Hickle, age 33 of Tiffin, passed away Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at Fireland Regional Medical Center in Sandusky, OH. Joseph was born June 12, 1990, in Fremont, OH, the son of Tommie Hickle II and Tina Low.

Joseph loved to go adventuring with “his dudes” (partner, Cody, and dog, Rocky). Together, they would camp and explore the outdoors all over in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, Tennessee, and anywhere adventure could be found. In addition to camping, he also loved to go mushroom hunting and hiking. Joseph was able to give the gift of life through organ donation through Lifebanc.

Joseph is survived by his partner, Cody Carpenter of Sandusky; mother, Tina Low of Burgoon; father, Tommie (Jody) Hickle II of Fremont; maternal grandmother, Darlene Low of Fremont; Paternal grandmother, Judy Hickle of Tiffin; step-sister, Michelle McCubbin of Clyde; aunts: Trudy Yoder, LaVonna Schank, and Shelly Biddle; and many other family and friends.

Joseph is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, George Low; paternal grandfather, Tommie Hickle; and his Aunt Rhonda.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, November 24, 2023, beginning at 4pm at the back hall of the Bettsville American Legion, 323 State St, Bettsville, OH 44815.
