Jonathan "Jon" Patrick Fulton

Jonathan “Jon” Patrick Fulton, 41, Oakwood, passed away Sunday, January 9, 2022, in Kettering Health Center.  Jon was born in Sandusky, March 17, 1980, to Bill and Jan Fulton.

He attended and graduated from Bellevue H.S. in 1998 with Honors.  Jon went on to further his education at The Ohio State University earning his B.S. in Specialized Family Resource Management & Family Financial Management in 2003.  Jon worked numerous jobs throughout his life, most notably Pro Source for eight years where he was a Senior Account Executive of Sales and Account Manager.  Since 2015, he’s been employed by Alcon Vision Care as a Professional Sales Rep.  Jon was fondly known as “Alcon Jon”.  He was recently presented the Circle of Excellence Award.

Jon was a parishioner of St. Albert’s the Great Church.  He was an active member of the Oakwood Community and enjoyed with a passion coaching the Oakwood Jill’s Basketball team that his daughter, Sasha played on from 2017 to 2021.  Jon gave 100% to any sporting activity whether playing, coaching, or watching his kids.

Jon was a devoted family man and all-around good guy.  Stating that he was the world’s greatest dad is an understatement.  He was a genuine friend and would give the shirt off his back to someone in need.  Jon was a very loving lad.  He was very competitive, enjoyed golf and loved Ohio State Football.

He is preceded in death by his dad, William R. Fulton; grandparents, Howard & Dorothy Fulton and Betty Rhodes.

Jon is survived by his loving wife of 15 years, Valentina; son, Alex; daughters, Sasha and Annabella “Bella”; pets, Coco & Celestia; mother, Jan Fulton; sister, Heather (Duane) Stanek; and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A visitation for family and friends will be Thursday, January 20, 2022, from 4:00-7:00 pm, at the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Road, Kettering, OH 45429.  The family invites everyone to wear their OSU colors in honor of Jon’s love for the Buckeyes.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 12:00 pm on Friday, January 21, 2022, at St. Albert’s the Great Catholic Church, 3033 Far Hills Ave., Dayton, OH 45429 with Father Chris officiating.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2022, at 11 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 147 West Forest St., Clyde, OH 43410 with Pastor Kurt Luebkeman officiating.
