Johnny F. Jones Sr.

Johnny F. Jones, 85, of Bellevue passed away Saturday, September 11, 2021 at ProMedica Toledo Hospital.  He was born October 19, 1935 in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina the son of John H. and Faye (Spiva) Jones.

Johnny worked as a truck driver.  He was a licensed Baptist minister and enjoyed watching television, especially westerns.

Johnny married Irmadean (Wilson) Jones on April 1, 1979, in North Carolina.  She survives along with his four children: Johnny Jones Jr., Judy Elaine Jones, David Lee Jones, and Linda Gail Horcher; stepchildren: Robert Rice, Bradley Croy, Tommy Mallory, Janet Novak, James Rice, Steven Rice, Sousanne Rice, and Tim Rice; 10 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 10 step grandchildren; 7 step great grandchildren; and former wife and mother of his children, Judy Angeline Jones.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Friends will be received on Friday, September 24, 2021 from 10 a.m. until a funeral service begins at 11 a.m. at the Bellevue Revival Center, 113 Kern Street, Bellevue.  Foos & Foos Funeral Service, Bellevue is in care of arrangements.
