John S. Ruffing

John S. Ruffing, 39, of Bellevue passed away Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at his home.  He was born February 24, 1982 in Bellevue the son of Arnold and Linda (Farmer) Ruffing.

John was a 2000 graduate of Seneca East High School.  He enjoyed farming and hunting with his family along with working on vehicles.  John will be remembered for all the help he offered and gave to others along with his sense of humor.  He loved spending time with his son, Aidan and his girlfriend, Krystal as well as their families and his beloved dog, “Dee”.

He is survived by his son, Aidan Ruffing of Fostoria; two brothers, Arnold P. Ruffing of North Fairfield and Donald A. Ruffing of Attica; sisters, Lisa M. Ruffing of Bellevue, Sheri L. Bischoff of Monroeville, and Mary E. (Dan) Carpenter of Norwalk; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, John is preceded in death by his sister, Brenda S. Ruffing; brother-in-law, Andrew Bischoff; niece, Tiffany Scriver; and great nephew, Dreyson Scriver.

Friends will be received on Monday, November 1, 2021 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue.  A funeral Mass will begin on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Gaspar del Bufalo, 16209 County Road 46, Bellevue.  Burial will follow at St. Sebastian Cemetery.
