John D. Roberts

John D. Roberts, age 78 of Fremont, OH, passed away Tuesday, October 10, 2023, at Elmwood Assisted Living & Skilled Nursing in Fremont. John was born February 6, 1945, in Sandusky, OH, the son of the late George and Doris (Paxson) Roberts.

John worked as maintenance supervisor at New Departure, where he later retired. He also owned and operated Memory Marina for many years. John enjoyed attending and watching NASCAR races, fishing, and boating. He loved traveling with his wife and cherished every moment with his family.

John is survived by his wife, Jennifer M. (Sprenger) Roberts of Fremont, whom he married August 7, 1965; sons: Joel (Jennifer) Roberts of Fremont, and Jay (Judy) Roberts of Bellevue; grandchildren: Jewel, Jordan, Jonathan, and Jenna Roberts.

In addition to his parents, John is preceded in death by his siblings: Ann Wilson, Ruth Robison, and Betsy Klotz.

Friends will be received on Friday, October 13, 2023, from 2:00pm until a funeral service beginning at 5:00pm at Foos Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 504 E. McPherson Hwy, Clyde, OH 43410.
