Joanna Zontini

Joanna Zontini, age 52, went home to be with the Lord on May 3, 2026. She was born on October 1, 1973, the daughter of the late Martin Zontini Sr. and Karen (Frye) Zontini. 

Joanna was a kind and compassionate soul whose heart was always open to others. She cared deeply for her family, friends, and anyone fortunate enough to know her, always willing to lend a helping hand or offer words of encouragement. Joanna had a special love for the outdoors and found joy in the beauty of nature. She especially adored animals, particularly hummingbirds and dragonflies. Never one to sit still for long, Joanna was always on the go, embracing life with energy, enthusiasm, and a sense of adventure. Her caring spirit, love of nature, and unwavering devotion to those around her will be remembered and cherished by all who knew her.

Joanna is survived by her children, Jessica (Jonathan) Kuns, Savannah Sutter, Andrew Thompson, and Skylar Thompson; 10  grandchildren; siblings, Martin P. (Pam) Zontini Jr., Cari Unsworth, and Martha Sostaric; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Joanna is preceded in death by her brother, John Zontini.

A memorial gathering will be held on June 20, 2026, from noon until a memorial service begins at 3:00pm at Foos and Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue, OH 44811.
