Obituary
Jo Ann Adkins (Friend), age 69 of Clyde, passed away Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at Heritage Village of Clyde. Jo Ann was born November 10, 1952 in Oakland, Maryland.
Jo Ann loved to cook and was excellent at it. She loved to have big family get-togethers and would decorate for every holiday. She went above and beyond when it came to planting flowers, and had them anywhere that she could. She will be dearly missed by all of her family and friends.
Jo Ann is survived by her son, Eric Myers of Clyde; mother: Sarah Gonya of Clyde; grandchildren: Angel, Joey, Cheyenne; sister: Jill (Dan) Howton of Helena, OH; brother, Joe Henry and Linda Friend; step-mother, Pat Hoover; step-sisters: Kathy (Chip) Newcomer and Carrie (Keith) Milleson; step-brothers: Danny (Patty) Rockwell, Butch (Amy) Rockwell, and Vern (Brenda) Rockwell.
Jo Ann is preceded in death by her father, Joseph Henry Friend, Sr; son, William Myers; half-brother, Vaughn Friend; and step-brother, John Rockwell.
There will be a private burial at McPherson Cemetery in Clyde.
Foos Funeral Home and Cremation Service is assisting the family with arrangements.
