Jessica S. Caskey

Jessica S. Caskey, age 29 of Bellevue, passed away Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at The Bellevue Hospital. Jessica was born August 30, 1992 in Crown Point, IN the daughter of James Caskey and Veronica Slayton (Collins).

As a child, Jessica melted the hearts of many who knew her, with her infectious smile and willingness to not know a stranger. Jessica was caring, had a big heart, and loved to laugh. She was the kind of friend that it didn’t matter who you were or where you were from, she accepted you the way you were. She would go without if it meant her family and friends were taken care of. Her favorite color was purple, although many who knew her may have thought her favorite color was black. Jessica had many struggles in life, but the one person that always made her smile was Caden. She enjoyed listening to music and was an avid Michigan Wolverine fan.

Jessica, Dad and Mom have and always will love you. May God have an endless supply of cheeseburgers just for you.

Jessica is survived by Caden Caskey of Clyde; father, James Caskey of Spring Hill, FL; mother, Veronica (Don) Slayton of Clyde; siblings: Elisabeth (Rob) Turner of Clovis, NM, Daniel Caskey of Bellevue, Rachel (Brandon) Polisie of Weeki Wachee, FL, Elijah Caskey of Spring Hill, FL, and Isabella Caskey of Spring Hill, FL; maternal grandparents: Dan and Delores Collins of Clyde; paternal grandmother, Charlotte Oats of Norwalk; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Jessica is preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, James C. Caskey.

Friends will be received Tuesday, November 23, 2021 from 2-4 & 6-8pm at Foos Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 504 E. McPherson Hwy, Clyde, OH 43410. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at 11am also at the funeral home. Burial will follow at McPherson Cemetery in Clyde.

Memorial donations may be made to the family for funeral expenses.
