Jerry Miller, 73, of Clyde passed away Monday, September 16, 2024 at The Bellevue Hospital. He was born May 9, 1951, in Elyria, Ohio, the son of Dalton and Pansy (Parsons) Miller.
Jerry served in the United States Navy from 1970 until his Honorable discharge in 1978. He was employed as a computer engineer, and enjoyed line dancing, and coaching soccer. He was an avid fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland Browns. Jerry also loved to travel as he did extensively throughout Europe and the United States.
He is survived by his wife, Maria (Rivera), whom he married June 10, 1972 in Isabela, Puerto Rico; son, Christopher Miller of Parma; daughter, Allison Miller of Clyde; and siblings: Jimmy Rivera of Puerto Rico and Tom Woodruff of Tucson, AZ; sisters: Sandy of West Virginia, Carmen of Killeen, Texas, Millie of Tucson, AZ, and Evelyn of Puerto Rico; nieces: Alex, Adriana, Bianca, and Gaby; and nephew, Nacho.
In addition to his parents; he is preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Stacie.
Friends will be received on Sunday, September 22 from 2-6 p.m. at Foos Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 504 E. McPherson Highway, Clyde where a funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. on Monday. Burial with Military Honors will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
