Jennifer (Sprenger) Roberts

Jennifer M. Roberts, 76, of Fremont passed away Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at Elmwood Assisted and Skilled Nursing in Fremont.  She was born March 5, 1947 in Madison, Wisconsin the daughter of Rudy H. and Roberta (Shepherd) Sprenger.

She married John Roberts on August 7, 1965 in Sandusky, Ohio.  Jennifer alongside her husband owned and operated Memory Marina.  She was a waitress at Rudy’s Family Restaurant, held a cosmetology license and baked professional cakes over the years.

Jennifer loved to travel anywhere she could soak up the sun and cherished spending time with her family.  She was a perfectionist at heart and enjoyed cooking and baking for others.

She will be deeply missed by those left behind, but is reunited with her soulmate once again.

Surviving are her two sons: Joel D. (Jennifer M.) Roberts of Fremont, Jay D. (Judy) Roberts of Bellevue; 4 grandchildren: Jewel, Jordan, Jonathan, and Jenna Roberts; brothers: Rudy M. (Janice) Sprenger of Fremont, Michael (Suzanne) Sprenger of North Carolina, James Sprenger of Lakewood; sisters, Colleen (Greg) Peters of Toledo, Michelle (Keith) Cummings of Fremont, Marlene (Larry) Fabbro of California, and Christine Turner of Fremont.

Jennifer is preceded in death by her parents and husband.

A Celebration of Life for Jennifer will be announced at a later date.  Foos Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Clyde is assisting with arrangements.

Memorials may be made to the Sandusky County Humane Society.
