Jeanie ( Wasily )Brown, 80, of Bellevue passed away Thursday, May 9, 2024 at The Bellevue Hospital. She was born November 30, 1943 in Huron, Ohio the daughter of Frank and Beatrice (Howie )Wasily.
Jeanette had a great sense of humor and was always good to make you laugh. She enjoyed baking and canning, and Sunday dinners. She loved to go out dancing and loved to go fishing. She enjoyed gardening and loved dogs, especially her beloved “sugar babe”. An amputee, Jeanie never let that get in her way of doing something or having a good time.
She is survived by her 3 children: Michael John (Sandra) Pifer of Bellevue, Steven J. Pifer of Bellevue, and Christine M. Fegley of Bellevue; grandchildren: Megan, Logan, Jordan, Damon, T’Neisha, and Shanell; 13 great grandchildren; and siblings, Tom and Joyce.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Edward J. Pifer; and two brothers, Jack and Doc.
Private family services will be held. Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue is in care of arrangements.
