Jay D. Pump

Jay D. Pump, age 81 of Tiffin, passed away Friday, April 8, 2022, at his home. Jay was born April 29, 1940 in Fremont, the son of the late Jack and Jane (Magnus) Pump.

Jay proudly served in the United States Navy and was a lifetime member of the VFW. He loved to play cards and watch gameshows on the television. Jay also enjoyed the peacefulness and beauty of nature.

Jay is survived by his wife, Susan Pump of Tiffin, whom he married July 13, 1991 in Oak Harbor; siblings: James (Nancy) Pump of Arcade, NY, Jeff (Sharon) Pump of Clyde, Jan (Amy) Pump of Clyde, and Julia Koenig of Monroe, MI; sisters-in-law: Norma (Wally Heminger) Sager of Fremont and Barb Pump of Michigan; sister-friend, Ann Haynes of Clyde; and numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and a great group of neighbors.

Friends will be received Thursday, April 14, 2022, from 11am until a funeral service beginning at 1pm at Foos Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 504 E. McPherson Hwy, Clyde, OH 43410. Burial and military honors will follow at McPherson Cemetery in Clyde. The family would like to request that those in attendance for Jay's services please wear a mask.
