James “Jim” F. England, age 77 of Clyde, passed away Saturday, November 13, 2021 at the Fostoria Community Hospital in Fostoria, OH. James was born June 5, 1944 outside of Carey, OH the son of the late Francis and Isa (VanPelt) England.
Jim loved to go fishing and camping. He also loved to mow grass and fix lawn mowers. This earned him the nickname, “Mower Man.” He was also an avid Cleveland Indians, Cleveland Browns, and Ohio State fan.
Jim is survived by his daughters: Michelle (Larry) Kreais of Bradner, OH, and Tonya England (Steve Horvath) of Lake Mountain, OH; step-children: David (Misty) Stanley of Green Springs, Sheri Kochendoerfer of Leesburg, VA, and Earlene Sewell of Oregon; step-grandchildren: Spencer and Gavin Kochendoerfer, Joshua and William Stanley, Savhana Cousin, and Elijah Sewell; brother, Raymond (Donna) England of Nevada, OH; and special friend, Deloria Simpson of Clyde.
In addition to his parents, Jim is preceded in death by his siblings: Roy, Gaynelle, Barbara, Lee, Larry, Dennis, Rodger, Charles, and Vivian.
Friends will be received Monday, November 22, 2021 from 10am until a funeral service beginning at 12pm, noon, at Foos Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 504 E. McPherson Hwy, Clyde, OH 43410. Burial will follow at McPherson Cemetery.
