James H. Didion

James H. Didion, age 86, of Bellevue, OH passed away November 23, 2022 at the Willows of Bellevue. He was born on May 26, 1936, in Bellevue, the son of the late Sylvester and Estelle (Missler) Didion.

James was devoted to and loved his family and grandchildren. He was an avid Cleveland Indians fan and member of Zion United Church of Christ, Fireside. He worked as a meat cutter and also at the Firelands Federal Credit Union.

James is survived by his daughters, Kelley (David H.) Ziegler of Bellevue and Dana (Dr. David) Riemann of Huron; grandchildren, Andrew (Amanda) Ziegler, Jessica Ziegler, Cody (Nicki) Ziegler, Dr. Kaitlin (Nick) Schwerer, and Kyle Riemann; great grandchildren, Emersyn, Abram, and Finley Schwerer also Charlie and Nora Ziegler; brothers, Richard, Thomas, Frank and David Didion; and numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. 

James is preceded in death by his first wife, Sandra (Phillips) Didion whom he married on November 20, 1954, in Adrian, MI; second wife, Pamela (Orwig) Didion whom he married on July 10, 2000; brothers, Robert, Donald, Michael, Gerald and Ronald Didion; sisters, Dorothy McKenzie, Betty Strohm, and Marguret Walker.

Friends will be received on Monday, November 28, 2022, from 5:00-7:00pm at Foos and Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue, OH 44811.
