James E. Deppen
Obituary
James E. Deppen, age 63 of Clyde, passed away Saturday, May 20, 2023. Jim was born May 13, 1960, in Bellevue, the son of the late Kenneth Alvin and Mary Elizabeth (Moser) Deppen.
Jim, most recently, drove truck for Great Lakes Packing. He also drove truck for Style Crest. Prior to driving truck, he owned his own construction company. One of his favorite hobbies that he loved throughout his life was fishing.
Those who knew Jim knew he was a born again Christian and spoke the Gospel to many people on his journey called life.
Jim is survived by his daughter, Katie (Lemual) Borton of Clyde; siblings: Kenneth (Elva) Deppen of Bellevue, Carol (Dan) Boies of Bellevue, and Christine (Steve) Dendinger of Deland, FL; significant other, Kathy “Sid” Stine of Fremont; and special niece, Marie (Bryan) Taylor.
In addition to his parents, Jim is preceded in death by his sister, Diane Schank.
Friends will be received Thursday, May 25, 2023, from 11:00am until a funeral service beginning at 2:00pm at Foos Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 504 E. McPherson Hwy, Clyde, OH 43410. Burial will follow at Bellevue City Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the family for funeral expenses.
