James E. D’Anniballe, 88, of Bellevue passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at Walnut Crossing Nursing Home in Marysville, Ohio. He was born May 16, 1934, in Jewett, Ohio the son of Guido and Etta Mae (Marchbank) D’Anniballe.
James served in the United States Navy and worked for Norfolk Southern Railroad for 38 years. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, Bellevue.
He married Sylvia A. Critzon on November 29, 1964, in Brewster, Ohio. She preceded him in death in 2018.
James is survived by his son, Mark D’Anniballe of Dublin, Ohio and daughter, Toni (Eric) Kuns of Dublin; 3 grandchildren: Alexander Kuns, Olivia Kuns, and Payton Porter; a brother, Bill D’Anniballe of Brewster, Ohio; and sister, Beverly Detorio of Dover.
In addition to his parents and wife; James is preceded in death by his sister, Betty Moder; sister-in-law, Judy D’Anniballe; and brother-in-law, David Detorio.
A memorial Mass will begin on Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at 11:30 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, 231 E. Center Street, Bellevue. Burial will follow at Bellevue Catholic Cemetery. Immediately following the burial a time of luncheon and fellowship will take place at Twin Lakes Golf Course, 100 Decker St. Bellevue, OH 44811. Foos & Foos Funeral Service, Bellevue is in care of arrangements.
