Jacqueline Kay (Boyer) Wynbissinger passed from this life to her heavenly life on Friday, January 3, 2025, at her home, surrounded by her loving earthly family, and was joyfully welcomed into the embrace of her heavenly family.
Jackie was born May 8, 1938, in Fostoria, Ohio, to her parents Margaret (Myers) and Donald B. Boyer. She went to Pike School and graduated from Bellevue High School in 1956. She married Eugene (Gene) Wynbissinger on July 22, 1956, at the First Baptist Church, Bellevue, Ohio. They are parents to Adam and Jonathan (Jon) Wynbissinger.
Jackie and Gene were both employed at Bellevue Lamp Plant/General Electric Co. until 1986 when it closed. They then moved to Sanford, Florida where she was employed by Stromberg Carlson, Seminole Community College, and finished at First Presbyterian Church downtown Orlando, as a secretary, until she retired. Upon retiring they moved to Leesburg, Florida, where they built a house in a retirement community. They frequently traveled back to Bellevue for visits with family and friends, and to help their sons who owned Bellevue and Clyde ACE Hardwares.
If you knew Jackie, you know that she often visited the sick and shut-ins. She also loved to entertain in their home – her feelings were “the more the merrier.” Some of her favorite things were family picnics, reunions, bike rides, shuffleboard, and watching her grandsons play baseball and basketball. At home she liked to cook and bake, and you’d find her tuned into Christian Radio listening to some of her favorites: Dr. David Jeremiah, Dr. J. Vernon McGee, Dr. Charles Stanley, and Adrian Rogers. She often scribbled notes about sermons or taped the programs to share with others.
Jackie was active in church wherever she lived at the time: First Baptist Bellevue, Lakeview Baptist (Lake Mary, FL.), Berean Baptist (Leesburg, FL.) and Providence Baptist since returning to Bellevue. Her heart was always at First Baptist Bellevue where she grew up, was baptized at, and married in. Jackie was born on a Sunday (Mother’s Day), married on a Sunday, and always hoped to die on a Sunday.
Jackie would not want you to grieve her passing as she was assured that when her earthly crumpled body gave up that her soul would immediately go to be at home with her Father God, Jesus Christ his son, the Holy Spirit, and fellow believers.
Jackie is survived by her husband Gene; sons Adam (Cheryl) Wynbissinger of Bellevue and Jon Wynbissinger of Bellevue; grandsons Andrew (Allison) Wynbissinger of Muncie, IN, Luke (Farrah) Wynbissinger of Bellevue, and Caleb (Allie) Wynbissinger of Bellevue; six great grandchildren, Sonora, Cambria, Harrison, Joanna, Ezra, and Ada; brother Jim (Maureen) Boyer of Northridge, CA; sister-in-law Sally Forrester of Madison, OH; and many other extended family members.
Jackie was preceded in death by her parents Margaret & D. B. Boyer, her in-laws Bessie & David O’ Dell, sister Judy Lyons, and brother-in-law Dan Forrester.
In lieu of flowers, please write a note to or visit a friend, visit a shut-in, attend a church, or enjoy a Christian concert. Memorial contributions may be sent to the Bible Broadcasting Network, 11530 Carmel Commons Blvd, Charlotte, NC 28226 or your local Gideons International organization to tell others the good news that Jesus is ALIVE.
Friends and family may call on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, from 3-6 pm at Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 am Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at Providence Baptist Church, 1000 Gardner Road, Bellevue, with Pastor Dan Duffy officiating. Burial will follow at Bellevue Cemetery.
