Jack A Clingman

Jack A. Clingman age 70 of Bellevue Passed away Friday Sep. 17, 2021 at Bellevue Hospital.  He was born July 8, 1951 in Bucyrus the son of the late Jack A. & Joann (Patchett) Clingman.

He was a US Marine veteran until his discharge in 1973.

Jack was an amazing guy who will be missed by many.  He was a jokester with a heart of gold and quick to lend a hand.  He was a motorcycle enthusiast from way back. He loved his Cleveland Browns and Ohio State fan.  He could be seen sitting on his porch with his dog Roscoe waving and hollering at all who drove by.  He was known as the “Mayor of Sinclair”, where he mowed many lawns and cleared snow up and down the street.  He was truly a friend to all.  He enjoyed taking day trips, rides to the lake, and vacationing with his wife and Roscoe.

He worked as a mechanic most of his life and enjoyed it.  He retired from the H.J. Heinz Company in 2013.

Jack married the love and aggravation of his life, Donna Ramey on May 14, 1990; She survives along with his children, Tonya Clingman of Mansfield, Todd (Tina) Clingman of Marion, Ryan (Jen) Clingman of North Robinson and Michelle (John) Nicoletti of Bellevue; grandchildren: Kherra Clingman, Kyle Clingman, Shania Clingman, Hayley Clingman, Joviah Tove, Jasmine Clingman, Braxton Clingman, Maci Risner, Kaylan Risner, Ritchie Pitsinger; 6 great grandchildren: Weston, Emilia, Aryana, Carson, Case, and Emileea; sisters: Carol Bowser and Pam (Jerry) Thompson; and his nieces who adored him: Beth, Amy, Jenny, Amanda, Terri, Trina, and Tana and especially by Joy, Mandy, Da’mir and Amaan.

Jack is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents: Orville and Mary (Chester) Modest and Robert and Anna (Earp) Patchett; sister, Diane Lue Clingman and brother, Ronnie Allen Clingman.

At Jack’s request, there will be no funeral.  He would like you to go have a beer at your favorite watering hole.

A celebration of life will be held on October 3, 2021 at the Bellevue VFW, the time will be announced.
