Isaac Lawrence Advey, age 13 of Clyde, passed away Monday, December 27, 2021, after a long battle with cancer. Isaac was born September 10, 2008 in Bellevue, the son of Lawrence J. and Delilah (Cooper) Advey.
Isaac was truly a special, unique, and one-of-a-kind person. He was very kindhearted, cared much more about others than himself, would always stick up for others (in person or in video games and was passionately against bullying), and he was generous, thoughtful, and nothing short of inspiring. His favorite thing to do was to spend time with his family, playing computer, nintendo, board, and card games (he was the best at UNO). He loved to joke around, use sarcasm, and was well beyond his years with wit, cleverness, and intelligence. Isaac also liked cooking, trying new recipes, and trying new foods. His bond with his sister Ava was surreal and they always loved spending time with each other.
In addition to his parents, Isaac is survived by his sister, Ava Advey, grandparents: Rose Cooper, Larry R. Advey, and Nancy & Andy Assel; aunts and uncles: Stefanie Taylor, Nikki (Richard) Fritz, Samuel (Heather) Cooper, Kathryn (Jason) Jaeger, Jodi (Terry) Maruna, Renée Advey, and Tonya (Howard) Justinger, and; cousins: Damon Jr, Justin, Averie, Delaney, Joshua, Alexander, Aubrey, Paisley, Alexis, Jakob, Joseph, and Jillian; and best friend: Jacen Cox.
Isaac is preceded in death by his grandparents: David Cooper and Terri Beech; great-grandparents: Mary & Robert Bryant, Barb Spence, and Robert & Ruth Advey; and uncles: Damon Taylor Sr, Stephen Hamilton, and Joshua D. Cooper.
Friends will be received Sunday, January 2, 2022 from 2-5:00pm at Foos Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 504 E. McPherson Hwy, Clyde, OH 43410. A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 3, 2022 at 11:00am at Journey Church, 565 S State Route 19, Fremont, OH 43420. Burial will take place at McPherson Cemetery.
