Harold Mohn, 85, of Bellevue passed away Thursday, May 26, 2022, at Extended Family Assisted Living in Bellevue. He was born September 12, 1936, in Fremont, Ohio the son of Harold B. and Charlotte (West) Mohn.
Harold served in the United States Army for 21 years, retiring in 1975. During his time in the service, he served in Vietnam and Korea earning numerous commendations and a Bronze Star Medal. After his retirement, Harold returned to Ohio and worked as a security guard for Continental Security and Central Soya in Bellevue, from where he retired in 1993.
Harold is survived by his two sons: Patrick (Kara) Mohn of Lakewood, Ohio and Tony Tran of Jacksonville, FL; daughter, Rachel (Brian) Sirene of Sandusky; step-children: Fred (Paulette) Keefe of Norwalk, Jerome (Judi) Keefe of Norwalk, Thomas (Rhonda) Keefe of Bucyrus, Charles (Adeline) Keefe of Castalia, Steven Keefe of Bellevue, Barbara Clark of Bellevue, Arlene (Jeff) Close of Bellevue, Rebecca (George) Tuttamore of Delaware, Ohio, Diane Fries of Bellevue, Paula Mayer of Collins, and Deborah Senn of Severna Park, MD; 7 grandchildren; numerous step-grandchildren, and step-great grandchildren; and his sister, Doris Lovett of Tallahassee, FL.
In addition to his parents, Harold is preceded in death by his wife, Flora M. Keefe-Mohn in 2017.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, from 10 a.m. until a funeral service begins at 11 a.m. at Greenlawn Memory Gardens, 1793 W. McPherson Highway, Clyde, Ohio 43410. Burial with Military Honors will follow. Foos & Foos Funeral Service, Bellevue is assisting with arrangements.
